I.T Education
The school has a state of the art Computer center with
L.C.D. Projector, C.D. Writer etc.
Keeping pace with the changing times, IT education is given
priority and both teachers and students are exposed to
computer education. All teaching staff members are trained to
conduct classes through computers.

Audio Visual aids
The school is well equipped with a variety of audio visual
aids to make the teaching - learning process interactive and
interesting. The Audio Visual room is equipped with OHP, TV &
Video and Cassettes on a wide range of topics.
Canteen Facility
A wide variety of hygienically prepared hot and nutritious
food is available at a reasonable price.

School Library
The school library is well equipped with a wide range of
books concerning all subjects. The teachers encourage the
students to use the ever growing school library.
Excursions
Local as well as outstation excursions are arranged
annually for all classes for pleasure and educational
purposes. |

Lab Facilities
The School has well equipped Maths, Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and Computer labs. The computer lab is equipped
with a multimedia system and a variety of CDs.

Co-curricular activities
Games, Sports, Trekking, Skating etc. are a part of
co-curricular activities. The school has a vast ground and
facilities for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and
table tennis etc. Matches are held throughout the year between
the six houses that compete keenly in track and field events
as well. March past and display drills are part of the
ceremonial parades held on national festivals.
Activity oriented subjects like Drama, Music, Arts and Crafts
make the curriculum integrated and holistic so that
educational experience is not confined to books alone.
Participation in these extra-curricular activities gives the
students opportunities for expressing their talents and
creativity.
Spiritual activity is a part of co-curricular activities.
The boarders have access to all the infrastructure and
facilities available to the day scholars - be it sports or
academics. The Boarding House is provided with a television
set. Students are permitted to view selected programmes. The
school has a good collection of video cassettes. Selected
cassettes are screened during holidays through the small
closed circuit TV system available. Hot water facility is also
available in the Boarding House. Yoga and Geeta sloka
recitation classes are conducted regularly. |

Health Care
The school has a sick bay, managed by a medical assistant.
Senior doctors are available on call. |

From time to time medical, eye and dental camps are
organized by the school.

Our Boarding House
The school also provides boarding house facilities for
outstation students (only boys), from Classes IV upwards. The
Hostel dining hall has the capacity to accommodate about 100
students at a time. A well balanced, nutritious, vegetarian
food is served. |

Medical facilities
An experienced doctor visits the hostel twice every week
and more often when necessary.
A child taken ill seriously will be sent to a recognised
hospital for immediate treatment and admission, if necessary.
The parents are informed as early as possible and are billed
for the treatment given.
Students are expected to enroll themselves as members of the
Health Insurance Scheme. |

Besides non-resident teachers supplement learning by
holding classes in the evening. Senior students are permitted
to study after dinner for a considerable time in addition to
the morning and evening study. Remedial classes are also
conducted for under-achievers during holidays. All important
festivals are celebrated in the hostel. The 'Hostel Day' is an
annual feature of the boarding house to which all the students
and staff look forward eagerly. |
